First Proof 040513. The plate’s got etched three times, to get different line strength in parts. I am pretty chuffed with the overall image, but there are spots ink didn’t get through the lines as I rushed the process.

Before and After inkin’, 040513. I drew this(onto an aluminium plate) in January when I hit rock bottom of my life. The image represents my life as whole also, and I think it’s dome pretty well. The plate’s been etched through a process that involved putting it in the acid bath three separate times, redrawing some lines that were too thin and blocking some bits before third etching process. I am quite proud of the result, now I just need to make some good prints of it.!

Daily Pikidoodle, 020513. It’s no Piki, but the blackie, one of the two kitties come ‘round daily, and a crow on conker tree. Been drawin’ and paintin’ outside my flat for a few days due to super summery weather.!

220413. Printed a few more, tried a different layout. Also collagin’ wi’ pale blue tissue paper turned out pretty kool.

Two-plate print, proof, 190413. Never done two plate prints before, and this was tricky cos of the two plates being shaped differently. I think it worked nicely in a way although am not very keen on the indentation the second plate(The Goat) made across the image. Will do more prints on Monday to see if I could get a better result. Overall I really like how these are combined together and the layered bit in the middle where black meets pale blue looks beautiful.

The mountains - proof after lightening the background with sandpaper, 190413. The plate I used on this(and the Goat one) had been etched before and the first proof came out very dark. it had its ‘mystic’ feel to it, but I wanted to make the mountains more viewable. Quite satisfied with this.

Daily Pikidoodle. 170413. I went out for some fresh air last nite and saw this lovely graduated sky with tinge of pink at the bottom(of the sky). So here’s yesterday’s Pikidoodle, a kitty relaxin’ in the sky. Mixed media and collage on watercolour paper.
