The lot wi’ Piki. Again these are sample badges so I’ll post about where/how to get ‘em later if anybody’s interested.

Badges, more BADGES.! These are samples/tester’s I did the other week. Will do a post where to buy ‘em later, probably in early June.

Got a couple of PIKI T shirts + flyers I ordered the other day. The flyers and one of the T’s were FREE.! Am impressed by the quality o’ ‘em. VIstaprint Rokks.

New plate am currently workin’ on - along wi’ the other lot. It’s a wee tiny one, did a quick drawing based on the lyrics I’ve been writin’ called “No Light at the End of Tunnel “. I’m very happy wi’ the drawing and how it’s etched, will add aquatint or sugar lift later on.

I have a LOT of pic’s to share - Been printin’ multiple plates, made some new badges and now am havin’ a wee rest. New etching prints and production foto’s will be posted soon.

Two unfinished pieces I did in the wee hours. Used only acrylic inks and no sketch. The ‘self portrait’ one was a challenge and took me hours, but still lots to add and fix.

First Proof 040513. The plate’s got etched three times, to get different line strength in parts. I am pretty chuffed with the overall image, but there are spots ink didn’t get through the lines as I rushed the process.

Before and After inkin’, 040513. I drew this(onto an aluminium plate) in January when I hit rock bottom of my life. The image represents my life as whole also, and I think it’s dome pretty well. The plate’s been etched through a process that involved putting it in the acid bath three separate times, redrawing some lines that were too thin and blocking some bits before third etching process. I am quite proud of the result, now I just need to make some good prints of it.!
